Meet the Chef
Chef Leo brings over three decades of culinary mastery to Metro Atlanta, shaped by his experience in some of New York City’s most prestigious kitchens. A passionate specialist in authentic izakaya and robata cuisine, he has trained under legendary Japanese chefs, including mentors from Michelin-starred kitchens and even a Top Chef judge’s restaurant, long before he realized the industry prestige surrounding him.
His signature cooking style is defined by the disciplined art of binchōtan grilling. Using this rare Japanese white oak charcoal, he brings out the pure, natural flavor of every ingredient—delivering skewers with delicate char, clean flavor, and a juicy interior without smoke or bitterness. Every dish reflects technique, patience, and purpose.
More than a craftsman of flavor, Chef Leo has led back-of-house teams in demanding, high-volume kitchens, balancing precision cooking with thoughtful leadership.
